As a result of Billy Wayne's troubled childhood, his ministry has provided a week long summer camp to needy, hurting children for over 25 years. This camp is provided at no cost to the child or the family. Sponsorships are obtained through the generous donations made to this program by individuals, community groups and businesses alike. The camp includes a daily individual devotion, praise & worship, Biblical teaching, small group sessions, object lessons, special events, and time for fun and fellowship. The gospel is presented in a clear manner consistently throughout the week. Life changing decisions are made and students leave with the hope that faith in Jesus Christ provides. There is a baptism at week's end for those that choose to make that public profession of faith. We stay in contact with the children and their families year round by providing back to school supplies and a special Comfort & Joy Christmas party for the whole family.
