I Made a Decision for Christ

Dear Believer;

Praise God! I want to be among the first people to encourage you in your decision to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is THE most important decision that you will EVER make in your lifetime.

What a privilege and honor it is for the God of this universe to whisper your name—of all the people present, God chose to speak to you.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is like a shepherd looking for His lost sheep. Tonight, Jesus left the flock and came after YOU—one lost sheep. When you answered His call, and prayed to receive Him as your Savior, He embraced your soul, ran into the presence of God the Father and shouted, “Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!” Then all the angels in Heaven ‘threw down’ and had a party in your honor.

 

I want to challenge you to grow in Christ and continue to follow where He leads you. If your decision was real, you will want to be obedient to His teachings. Here are some things that I feel will help you live a Christian life of joy and victory

  • Read your Bible every day. This is the greatest way that God instructs His children. I suggest beginning with the Gospel of John .
  • Pray every day. Now that Christ reigns in your heart, He wants you to talk with Him. Tell Him your fears, your joys,and your struggles. Don’t forget to praise Him.
  • Tell others what Jesus has done in your life. Don’t be ashamed of the decision that you have made to follow Christ. You now possess something that can change the lives of those around you.
  • Get into a fellowship of believers. Get involved in a local church. It is here that other Christians can encourage you in your walk with Christ
